AB 646, as introduced, Kalra. Student financial aid: debt.
Existing law establishes various student financial aid programs that involve the making of loans to students to help cover the costs of postsecondary education.
This bill would express the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation to help reduce the debt load that students face after graduating from California’s colleges and universities.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 It is the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation to help reduce the debt load that students face after graduating from California’s colleges and universities.
