AN ACT PROVIDING FREE ADMISSION TO AND PARKING AT STATE PARKS FOR CONNECTICUT VETERANS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 23-26 of the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection, upon application, to issue residents of this state who are veterans nontransferable lifetime passes permitting free parking, admission and boat access parking for use at any state park, forest or state recreational facility.

Statement of Purpose:

To expand the benefit of free entry to and parking at state parks, forests and recreational facilities to all veterans.
