AN ACT ELIMINATING THE SALES TAX PAID BY CUSTOMERS OF PRIVATE WATER COMPANIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 12 of the general statutes be amended to eliminate the sales tax paid by customers of private water companies.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide tax equity between private water companies and utilities.
