AN ACT CONCERNING ALLOWABLE HIRING RATIOS REGARDING APPRENTICES, JOURNEYMEN AND CONTRACTORS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to direct the Commissioner of Consumer Protection to amend existing Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies adopted pursuant to section 20-332 of the general statutes to increase the allowable hiring ratios regarding apprentices, journeymen and contractors.

Statement of Purpose:

To increase the training and employment opportunities for apprentices by allowing contractors to employ more apprentices.
