Summary

As introduced Bill 25-485 would establish uniform standards under which a court may appoint a receiver. It would give any interested parties the right to notice and a hearing before a court issues an order of receivership. Among other things, it gives a receiver the status of a lien creditor with respect to receivership property. It sets forth the duties of both the receiver and the owner of receivership property among other things.
