Summary

The Bill adjusts the limitation in the current law limiting a commissioner to no more than 3 consecutive terms. This Bill would give the Governor, President Pro Tempore, and Speaker authority to reappoint members to more than 3 consecutive terms if they feel it appropriate to take advantage of a member or members’ invaluable experience.
