Bill Title: Amends the Election Code. Provides that a petition for nomination for a municipal or township office shall be filed in the office of the county clerk of the county in which the seat of the township or municipality is located (rather than in the office of the local election official). Makes conforming changes throughout the Code and in the Township Code, the Illinois Municipal Code, and the Public Community College Act. Makes other changes.
