Amends the Unified Code of Corrections. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the definition of "imprisonment".

1 AN ACT concerning criminal law.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Unified Code of Corrections is amended by
5 changing Section 5-1-10 as follows:
6 (730 ILCS 5/5-1-10) (from Ch. 38, par. 1005-1-10)
7 Sec. 5-1-10. Imprisonment. "Imprisonment" means
8 incarceration in a correctional institution under a sentence of
9 imprisonment and and does not include "periodic imprisonment"
10 under Article 7.
