2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Mary E. Dillier of Casey, who passed away | ||||||
4 | on April 14, 2019; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Mary Dillier was born in Martinsville to Edgar and | ||||||
6 | Nellie (Ennis) Fasig on August 22, 1924; she married Walter | ||||||
7 | Dillier in 1949; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Mary Dillier enjoyed farm life; she was a longtime | ||||||
9 | resident of Casey; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Mary Dillier sponsored a men's softball team, | ||||||
11 | Dillier Oil, for many years; she funded a scholarship program | ||||||
12 | at Lake Land College in memory of her son and helped many local | ||||||
13 | students attend college; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Mary Dillier was preceded in death by her husband, | ||||||
15 | Walt; her son, Walter Lee; her daughter, Joyce Ann; and her | ||||||
16 | son, Steven Lee; and
| ||||||
17 | WHEREAS, Mary Dillier is survived by her daughter, Betsy | ||||||
18 | (Max) Mitchell; her sons, Mark (Mark Seei) and Joe (Halina); | ||||||
19 | her grandchildren, Erin (Ryan Martinson) Mitchell, Drew | ||||||
20 | Mitchell, and Joseph Dillier; and her great-grandchildren, |

2 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | ||||||
3 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
4 | Mary E. Dillier and extend our sincere condolences to her | ||||||
5 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
6 | further

7 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
8 | presented to the family of Mary Dillier as an expression of our | ||||||
9 | deepest sympathy.
