Summary

Requiring that a specified court give a defendant, at the defendant's request, who has been ordered by the court to participate in a treatment program for substance-related disorder, an opportunity to address the substance-related disorder by means of sudden cessation of substance abuse that may include treatment that does not involve the use of a controlled dangerous substance in lieu of participating in the treatment program; etc.
