Summary
An Act To Amend Section 71-11-3, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Transfer The Responsibility Of Administering The Electronic Verification Of Work Authorization Program ("e-verify Program") From The Mississippi Department Of Employment Security To The Mississippi Department Of Agriculture And Commerce; To Impose Additional Penalties Upon Employers Found To Be In Violation; To Amend Section 69-1-13, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Revise The Powers And Duties Of The Commissioner Of Agriculture And Commerce To Include The Administration And Supervision Of The E-verify Program; And For Related Purposes.
