An Act To Authorize The Issuance Of State General Obligation Bonds In The Amount Of Thirty Million Dollars, To Provide Funds To Pay The Costs Associated With The Construction Of New State Park Facilities And The Repair And Renovation Of Existing State Parks And State Park Facilities Within The State; To Amend Section 65-1-8, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That Beginning On July 1, 2011, The Mississippi Transportation Commission Shall Assume Jurisdiction And Control Over, And Require The Mississippi Department Of Transportation To Be Responsible For, Constructing, Maintaining, Repairing And Improving All Driveways, Roadways, Rights-of-way, Streets And Roads On The Grounds Of The State Parks Of The State; To Provide That The Mississippi Department Of Wildlife, Fisheries And Parks Shall Not Be Required To Reimburse The Mississippi Department Of Transportation For Any Expenditures Incurred In Effectuating Such Responsibilities; To Amend Section 65-1-37, Mississippi Code Of 1972, In Conformity Thereto; To Provide That Beginning On July 1, 2011, Any Corporation Formed As An Electric Power Association Shall Assume Jurisdiction And Control Over Electric Energy Services Within Any State Park Located In That Corporation's Service Area, Territory Or System; To Provide That The Mississippi Department Of Wildlife, Fisheries And Parks Shall Not Be Required To Pay Any Fees To The Applicable Corporation For Providing Such Electric Energy Services; To Amend Sections 77-5-215, 77-5-221, 77-5-225, 77-5-231, 77-5-235 And 77-5-237, Mississippi Code Of 1972, In Conformity Thereto; And For Related Purposes.
