Summary

An Act To Amend Section 43-15-51, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That The Confidentiality And Possible Disclosure Of Records Of Multidisciplinary Teams And Child Advocacy Centers Concerning Children Shall Be Governed By The Youth Court Act And The Uniform Rules Of Youth Court Practice; To Provide That The Disclosure Of Certain Information Obtained From A Team Meeting Or From A Center May Occur Only When Requested By Courts For Limited Purposes; To Amend Section 43-21-259, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Clarify That The Confidentiality Of Certain Other Records Shall Include Information And Forensic Interviews Developed Or Prepared By Multidisciplinary Teams And Child Advocacy Centers; And For Related Purposes.
