A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to appropriate funds for the completion of further engineering and environmental studies for the Wilmington Rail Relocation Port Access project.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the City of Wilmington the sum of five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) in nonrecurring funds for the completion of further engineering and environmental studies of the relocation of freight rail access to the Port of Wilmington from the current route through the City of Wilmington to the west side of the Cape Fear River.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2018.
