        AN  ACT  to  amend  the election law, in relation to the use of campaign
          funds for certain expenses

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section  1.  Paragraph (iii) of subdivision 3 of section 14-130 of the
     2  election law, as added by section 9 of part CC of chapter 56 of the laws
     3  of 2015, is amended to read as follows:
     4    (iii) [clothing] childcare expenses, other than [items that are  used]
     5  expenses  incurred  in the campaign or in the execution of the duties of
     6  public office or party position;
     7    § 2. This act shall take effect on the sixtieth  day  after  it  shall
     8  have  become a law; provided, however, that the state board of elections
     9  shall notify  all  registered  campaign  committees  of  the  applicable
    10  provisions  of  this  act  within  thirty days after this act shall have
    11  become a law.
