Summary

As introduced, makes it an offense for a prisoner to have sexual contact with certain penal institution staff; imposes increased penalties for sexual offenses committed against certain employees or volunteers of a penal institution; requires the department to provide a report of sexual offenses that occur in all correctional institutions; protects employees who report or cooperate with the department from retaliation or adverse action. - Amends TCA Title 39, Chapter 13, Part 5; Title 39, Chapter 16, Part 4 and Title 41.
