| WHEREAS, Angelina Alvarez, a sixth grade student at | ||
| Corrigan-Camden Junior High School, excelled at the University | ||
| Interscholastic League academic meet during the 2014-2015 school | ||
| year; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Participating in the spelling competition, Angelina | ||
| earned first place honors, and her accomplishment is a source of | ||
| great pride to her family and to her fellow students at her school; | ||
| and | ||
| WHEREAS, This notable young Texan has pursued her goals with | ||
| skill and dedication, and she may indeed look forward to a future | ||
| bright with promise; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Angelina Alvarez on her success in | ||
| UIL academic competition and extend to her sincere best wishes for | ||
| continued achievement; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Alvarez as an expression of high regard by the | ||
| Texas House of Representatives. | ||
