| WHEREAS, Paige Bostic has ably served her fellow Texans as an | ||
| intern in the office of State Representative Nicole Collier during | ||
| the 86th Legislative Session; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Ms. Bostic is a participant in the Texas Legislative | ||
| Internship Program administered by Texas Southern University, and | ||
| she has provided vital assistance to Representative Collier in her | ||
| work as chair of the Criminal Jurisprudence Committee; in addition | ||
| to handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, Ms. Bostic has | ||
| gained valuable experience in the field of public service and | ||
| learned more about the legislative process and the issues facing | ||
| citizens of the Lone Star State; and | ||
| WHEREAS, A student in the Thurgood Marshall School of Law, | ||
| Ms. Bostic has further distinguished herself as a class | ||
| representative and as a mentor to other students, and she has also | ||
| played an instrumental role in organizing community programs that | ||
| provide assistance to those in need; and | ||
| WHEREAS, This noteworthy Texan has performed her duties as a | ||
| legislative intern with skill, dedication, and humility, and her | ||
| strong work ethic and positive attitude have been an invaluable | ||
| asset to the office; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby commend Paige Bostic for her service as a | ||
| legislative intern in the office of State Representative Nicole | ||
| Collier and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success | ||
| in all her endeavors; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Bostic as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
