To amend title 4, United States Code, to permit the flag of the United States to be flown at half-staff in the event of the death of the Mayor of the District of Columbia. This bill requires the flag of the United States to be flown at half-staff upon the death of the Mayor of the District of Columbia, by order of the President, from the day of death until interment.
