HOUSE BILL 2042

RATIFIED BILL

 

 

AN ACT to authorize the City of sanford to convey by private sale its remaining interest in a parcel of land; and to provide THAT the city of king MAY PROHIBIT THE ISSUANCE OF A BUILDING PERMIT TO A DELINQUENT TAXPAYER.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

 

SECTION 1.  The City of Sanford may convey by private sale all remaining interest it may have in the property described in a deed found at Deed Book 549, page 415, in the Lee County Register of Deeds Office, to the Grantee described in that deed.

SECTION 2.  Section 1 of Session Law 2009‑68 reads as rewritten:

"SECTION 1.  This act applies only to the City of King and to the Towns of Columbia and Edenton."

SECTION 3.  This act is effective when it becomes law.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified this the 6th day of July, 2010.
