Paragraph b of subdivision 2 of section 510 of the vehicle 2 and traffic law is amended by adding a new subparagraph (xviii) to read 3 as follows: 4 (xviii) for a period of sixty days where the holder is convicted of a 5 violation of any provision of subdivision (a) of section eleven hundred 6 seventy-four of this chapter within a period of eighteen months of a 7 previous violation of such subdivision. 8 § 2. This act shall take effect on the first of November next succeed- 9 ing the date on which it shall have become a law.
