BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
SECTION 1. The heading to Subchapter C, Chapter 183, Tax | ||
Code, is amended to read as follows: | ||
SUBCHAPTER C. DISPOSITION OF PROCEEDS [ |
||

SECTION 2. Subchapter C, Chapter 183, Tax Code, is amended | ||
by adding Section 183.053 to read as follows: | ||
Sec. 183.053. ALLOCATION OF CERTAIN REVENUE TO DRUG COURT | ||
ACCOUNT. The comptroller shall deposit one percent of the taxes | ||
received under Subchapters B and B-1 to the credit of the drug court | ||
account described by Article 102.0178, Code of Criminal Procedure. | ||
SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
